The connector is made from acetal copolymer, a sturdy and low-friction thermoplastic. This material is also electrically non-conductive and resistant to most chemicals but should be avoided if you are using strong acids such as sulphuric or nitric acid. Use this connector in coolant systems of heated machinery such as boiler pipes.
