The sheets are rigid and able to withstand heavy loads and even sudden impact without bending or buckling. Their carbon fibre material is produced by combining polymer fibres such as polyacrylonitrile with an epoxy resin matrix system. This process gives the sheets two sides: one resin-rich side thats smooth and glossy and a reverse side with twill fabric weave detail, giving them a sleek appearance that modern furniture designers love. They have a density of just 1.6 g/cm³ and can withstand operating temperatures of +80°C.
