| RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Flat Bar, 30 mm x 3 mm x 1 mVersatile and stable, this flat aluminium bar from the RS PRO range is widely used in the construction and manufacturing industries. Ideal for use in high-stress applications, including for bridges, cranes and transport, its tensile strength of 310 Min MPa allows it to cope with significant loads and stresses before bending, stretching or breaking. Made from the medium-strength aluminium alloy 6082, the bars have excellent corrosion resistance and are therefore suitable for long-term exposure outdoors. An excellent heat and electricity conductor, the aluminium alloy has a thermal conductivity of 180 W/mk. The aluminium bar is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certified and has been stringently quality-tested as part of the RS PRO range. The bar comes in lengths of 1 metre with a width of 30 mm and thickness of 3 mm.Features and Benefits• Dimensions of 1 m (L) x 30 mm (W) • Thickness of 3 mm • Density of 2.70 g/cm³ • Tensile strength equivalent to 310 Min MPa • Thermal conductivity of 180 W/m.K • Hardness of 95 HBRS PRORS PRO is our own brand range and brings you a wide range of high-quality, great value products offering you more choice. Trusted by engineers all over the world, every part of every RS PRO product has been rigorously tested against demanding industry standards they’re only given the RS PRO Seal of Approval if we’re confident of their exceptional quality, which means you can be confident too.
